Frequently Asked Questions
Booking & Catering with Farm to Fork
At Farm to Fork, we believe great events begin with clear communication. Below are answers to the questions we’re most often asked about booking, menus, service, and sourcing.
-
The best way to inquire about availability is to complete the Catering Inquiry Form.
Submitting the form tentatively places your event on our calendar while we review your details. Your event is not confirmed until you receive a proposal, sign a contract, and submit your deposit.
-
Once we receive your inquiry:
• A member of our team will follow up by email.
• We’ll create a custom proposal based on your event details.
• You’ll receive an online booking file that includes your proposal, contract, and invoice. You can review everything digitally, sign your contract online, and pay your deposit securely.
-
Our minimum order is generally $500, though certain dates, venues, or event types may require a higher minimum.
We encourage you to inquire regardless of size — we’re always happy to let you know what’s possible based on your guest count, location, and service needs.

If you have questions about flavor profiles, ingredients, or preparation, we’re happy to discuss those details during the proposal process. We are also happy to provide references from private and corporate clients.
-
Not everything we serve is local — and we believe in being transparent about that.
Because we cook seasonally, not all ingredients are available locally year-round. Whenever possible, we prioritize:
Locally grown, organic produce
Locally, sustainably raised meats
Locally produced artisan cheeses
Kentucky-made specialty products
We are proud to partner with local producers such as Blue Dog Bakery, Bourbon Barrel Foods, Kenny’s Farmhouse Cheese, Capriole Goat Cheeses, and many other Kentucky and Southern Indiana farms and food artisans.
Our approach is simple: when it makes sense seasonally and logistically, we source locally first. When it doesn’t, we still prioritize quality, freshness, sustainability and responsible sourcing.
-
