Our Partners: Local Farmers, Producers, and Artisans
The following farmers, producers, and artisans are truly partners in our mission and provide us the ability to offer our clients such a vast array of local ingredients. They are people in our community that we have developed relationships with over the years. We’ve visited many of their farms, shared meals with them, catered their weddings and watched their families grow. We are proud to support them and hope you will too!
We feel like kids in a candy shop when we see Pavel Ovechkin’s heirloom tomatoes and watermelon radishes or Nick Posante’s purple carrots and chocolate beauty peppers. We absolutely love to garnish, dress sandwiches and salads with delicate pea shoots and micro-greens from Grateful Greens. The variety of produce from all our farmer partners make the most stunning crudité platters.
Meat and Poultry
We are obsessed with Adam Barr’s chickens. Sarah Duncan’s New Zealand rabbits make the most delicious ragù. Dreamcatcher Farm offers a kick-ass pork butt for our pulled pork. And we can’t get enough of Foxhollow’s grass fed beef.
Cheese and Dairy
We count on JD Country Milk for our mouth-watering buttermilk biscuits. With over 30 cheeses from which to choose, Kenny’s Farmhouse Cheese gives us lots of options for culinary creativity. When we serve goat cheese from Capriole or Sapori D’Italia, our clients think it’s from Europe, not from within 70 miles of Louisville.
Breads and Grains
Blue Dog Bakery artisan breads are perfection every time. And we are proud to support historic Weisenberger Mill by purchasing flour, wheat berries, stone ground grits and other grains.
